"I experienced a homecoming to something so true and peaceful, an unshakeable core. There was an opening in me, simultaneous with a settling. I was creating the space my body needed to expand on its own terms."

"I stopped justifying my existence."

What happens when your body becomes a way of knowing, rather than something you know about?

You’ve been taught to understand your body through a narrow, human-centered scope: what it is, what it does, where it fits, how it communicates, how it moves, what’s wrong with it, and what you need to change or fix.

Even if you’ve started to lift that veil and shift that dynamic, through somatics, spirituality, energy work, therapy, and years of your own practice...

there’s a better question to ask.

The Mythosomatic Sanctuary is an apprenticeship in exploring that question, changing both the way you look at life and the way you live it.

You may have spent years learning how to listen to your body. Maybe even built a life or a practice around helping other people listen to theirs.

Here, you won't just learn another set of techniques for your toolbox or earn a certification at the end.

In fact, bring everything you know and have learned over the years to the Sanctuary. But, hold it loosely. You don't have to be it here.

The Sanctuary is where listening becomes relationship,
relationship becomes practice, and
practice begins to shape the way you live.

Your email just pinged about that collaboration you’re excited about! And your breath froze because your body needs more space than your calendar currently has.

You’re pulled to move to a place where your Soul expands and your heart lights upBut you keep putting off a decision, because your home and community are here.

Your body naturally holds more than one truth at a time.

But your body isn't confused.

It's seeing through more than one lens at once.

Instead, there's the part that wants to move. Another that wants to rest. One part wants connection, while another retreats. And there's a part that remembers, while a different part can see a possibility you hadn't considered.

You’re connected to your body in these moments, but it feels like conflicting advice.

Why, for once, can’t you just get a single answer?

Your Organs can have an emotional conversation while your Nervous System signals how much you can process.

Bone can seek stability while Fluid reminds you that movement is part of staying alive.

Muscle can reach toward connection while your DNA reminds you what happened within generations of relationship.

It isn’t about finding the one Realm that's correct.

It's developing enough relationship with your body to discern what’s needed.

This is an invitation to soak your cells in a cosmology where your body isn't a thing or a place, a being, or even a guide, but a living way of encountering yourself, your life, and the world.

One body. Many ways of seeing.

Thank you! Your words brought me to tears. I am so rarely able to find any space where there is enough time for this. So finding these pockets here in MSS and to not feel rushed is precious and makes it possible for me to "carry on" in my daily life.

I think there are parts of my body that can stay with the slowness, and some parts that cannot. I feel both in my body.

During my time in the Mythosomatic Sanctuary I've moved from being the ‘good student’ and ‘following the curriculum’ to really trusting myself with this work and what I really need.

And this is wholly encouraged by Ash who not only guides, teaches, and supports us but is going through the work alongside us too.

— sara

I felt into it, and it's like my body was the hot molten lava, magma swirling underneath, a semi-solid, semi-liquid state, but a foundation that's still settling and allowing deeper work to erupt out of it.

I feel that when it all settles, the fertile soil will allow things to grow that I never could've imagined.

— caph

I'm feeling how deep this work goes. The Sanctuary as a whole! This is going to be continued depth and rebuilding into the places I couldn't always access before. It's a very sacred space.

I'm really grateful to be in this container doing this work now. I'm grateful for this present moment and for the growth it's pushing me towards. I'm seeing my own truths and where I've been diverting around or not looking at fully.

— megan

I see possibility and uncertainty through a lens that doesn’t trigger anxiety when things are peaceful, or even, dare I say, GOING WELL? Sometimes when I have no anxiety, the anxiety almost creeps in because it’s like, “Wait, things are too calm. Shouldn’t you be panicked right now?”

But somehow. Blissfully, things have shifted. There's a feeling of safety that I definitely attribute to Ash’s work.

— sam

the Weavers wove a quilt with my muscles and embroidered it with my fascia, and then they put it all back together without regard for where it was "supposed" to be, like it was all interchangeable.

And it told me that it's all "me" and it's all interconnected and to treat it as a whole instead of just parts, even though the parts work together.

The Embodied Realms—DNA, Fluid, Bone, Organ, Muscle, and Nervous System, plus Fascia—offer different ways of seeing and living through your body, your life, and the world around you.

Together, they form the underpinning of the Mythosomatic Sanctuary.

But you don't study them as isolated systems. You enter them in sequence, season by season, and discover what becomes possible when you braid them into your lived reality.

Let the Embodied Realms show you another way to live.

The magic is in the experience. In the praxis. And I’m grateful for the spaciousness to do that here within a year. I can be slow to receive my internal messages so knowing that I can do this at my own pace brings a lot of relief. Like I don't have to expedite my healing journey. And what's funny is that I feel like my experience in MSS has helped activate YEARS of therapy.

Maybe I just needed a Sanctuary to synthesize it all and really put it into practice without getting stuck "therapizing" myself.

"I don't have to expedite my healing journey"

I'm Ash, your mythosomatic guide, energy worker, and space tender.

My path has been strange and winding, as all the best paths are, but thankfully, I left a trail of breadcrumbs that led me through the Realms of Embodiment to arrive here.

The Mythosomatic Sanctuary emerged from years of listening closely to bones and blood, ancestors and dreams, fascia and nerves, and my body that said, “this is it, now.”

I've been guiding people professionally through energy, embodiment, and spirit work since 2018, through one-on-one sessions, courses and programs, and group immersions.

Over those years, I've watched the smallest signals from the body create tectonic shifts in people's lives. I've watched bodies soften, stories change, relationships reorganize, and people become more able to meet their lives on their own terms.

Healing was always present, but it was never the whole story.

The body is a way of knowing.

A way into story, ancestry, ecology, psyche, mythology, relationship, and the living world.

That realization revealed the Realms of Embodiment as the structure of a larger Mythosomatic cosmology.

And now, the Sanctuary is where I invite you to apprentice yourself to that way of seeing.

My role isn't to become the authority on your body. It's to guide you into a relationship with the work deep enough that your own body becomes a source of knowing you can trust.

You'll move through periods of deep work, followed by space to rest, metabolize, integrate, and notice what your body is doing with what you've encountered.

The periods of work are structured to support you in opening, energetically shifting, and then embodying each Realm.

A typical season in the Sanctuary flows at the following cadence:

you've seen the terrain. now come live in it.

Each season has its own rhythm of immersion, practice, and rest.

Enter the landscape.
Meet a new way of seeing.
Experience the Realm through your body.
Practice living through it.
Be supported by community.
Rest, integrate, and notice what changes.
Carry what’s useful forward, and hold it loosely.

The Rhythm within a Realm

Enter the Realm through an Energy Archaeology session and deepen your embodied experience of the cosmology.

Group Energy Work Immersion

Bring what you've encountered into your actual life, with somatic support, and written prompts that align to the Realm and help you notice what changes.

Embodied Integration

All live calls are recorded, so you can participate live when you can and return to the work when you need to.

Orient yourself to the new Realm and participate in a somatic or energetic practice to experience its wisdom and worldview through your body.

Somatic Opening

a special expansion of the dna realm

During this Sanctuary year, we'll spend additional time in the DNA Realm as we create a new bundle for the Energy Archaeology Archives.

You'll still have your Somatic Opening and Embodied Integration calls, while the usual Group Energy Work Immersion expands into six DNA-specific calls.

Before engaging with Ash’s work, my relationship with my body had a lot of push and pull. I think I‘d emerged from a complete phase of disembodiment, completely ignoring my feelings and bodily cues.

I wanted to better understand the messages within my body so I could make informed decisions. Not out of raw emotion, but also without thinking my way out of things or gaslighting myself into not feeling or listening to the messages inside. I think, ultimately, I was looking to rebuild my self-trust again.

Things shifted as I began working with the Embodied Realms. I remember being left with this “EUREKA!” moment in my body. Like a light-bulb illumination happening within. The Bone Realm and Organ Realm in particular helped me create a connection between my body’s messages, how I might be feeling, and how my brain was receiving that information.

What I hadn’t understood before is that the body will share its stories with you if you’re willing to listen. Sometimes it doesn’t make sense right away, but it does connect together in a way that I haven’t been able to integrate previously through any learned modality. The magic is in the praxis. And I’m grateful for the spaciousness to do that here within a year. I can be slow to receive my internal messages so knowing that I can do this at my own pace brings a lot of relief.

"One of the biggest changes I’ve noticed is relief. Relief that comes from not feeling anxious anymore. Relief at the stillness to rest. To create. To dream!"

The Sanctuary has been the space that I didn't know I needed. I had no concrete reason for signing up but I am very familiar with Ashley's work, so I knew it would be a space that would be wildly supportive and tended to beautifully.

During my time in the space I have moved from being the ‘good student’ and ‘following the curriculum’ to really trusting myself with this work and what I really need. And this is wholly encouraged by Ash who not only guides, teaches, and supports us but is going through the work alongside us too.

I feel less of the 'shoulds' in many areas. For example: I am thinking about how long I want stay somewhere, such as a family event. In the past would have overrode my sensory needs and then spent a day recovering after. Now I am more likely to just cut something short, position myself away from certain people, or say no.

Each season having a different guide to connect to that wasn’t prescriptive has been such a beautiful and anchoring way for me to support my body in all the different Realms.

I love it here!

"I have moved from being the ‘good student’ and ‘following the curriculum’ to really trusting myself with this work and what I really need."

— caph

it started right as i joined. a collapse of identity, a tower moment, a crux where i decided to take the leap and everything reflected it. and then a homecoming to something so true and peaceful, an unshakable core. there was an opening in me, simultaneously with a settling. every session kept gently inviting the work that was there, reflecting the seasons of my own life perfectly. it was creating the space my body needed to expand on its own terms.

i often found myself opening up to my partner and ending it with the statement “i’m so glad i’m in the mythosomatic sanctuary”.

i really enjoyed the pacing and the rhythm, i joined when it matched mine, and could easily adapt it when i needed more space and time. the discord made me feel surprisingly held as well, sharing if i wanted to, and feeling no obligation to catch up to anything. the little emoji reactions fill me with joy.

it’s not really one thing, and the space reflects that lesson. that safety/stability can exist in uncertainty. it doesn’t have to be static. that the diversity of experiences is not something to merge into one. it can coexist.

i have experienced feeling that there’s nothing wrong with me for the first time. feeling my own self worth. it’s more than a theoretical concept that i intellectually agree with now. it’s alive, living within.

questions to consider before saying yes

An apprenticeship is a way of studying a body of work that asks for commitment, presence, and patience. It asks you not only to take in information, but to apply it—to return to it, practice with it, and discover what changes through lived experience.

In the Mythosomatic Sanctuary, you’re guided into a new way of seeing and invited to notice what shifts as you practice living through the Embodied Realms.

You are not apprenticing to Ash’s style of energy work. You are apprenticing to the Mythosomatic and Embodied Realms framework.

Through your own application and practice, you’ll discover what resonates, what comes easily, what challenges you, and where you need deeper study, practice, or support. Over time, the framework becomes something you know through experience, not simply something you know about.

This apprenticeship is not a licensure or certification program, nor does completing it grant permission to teach, practice, or represent this work as your own.

You only need to be open, curious, and willing to experiment.

The Mythosomatic Sanctuary isn't here to convince you that this is the correct way to understand the body, or to prove that you should believe any particular thing.

It's here to introduce you to a different lens through which to experience your body, your life, and your relationship to the world.

You can question it. Test it. Play with it. Notice what resonates and what doesn't.
What you believe when you enter—and what you believe when you leave—is entirely up to you.

There’s a balance and totality that can only emerge when you apprentice through every season.

Enrolling in one season of the Sanctuary would be like experiencing only one season of the year, or one time of day. You may love autumn or mid-morning, but struggle during winter or three a.m.

The Realms work similarly. Each brings you into contact with different parts of yourself, different experiences, and different ways of participating in the world. You'll likely feel more comfortable in some than others. Some Realms will feel immediately familiar. Others may feel strange, challenging, or even irrelevant at first. That's part of the practice too.

Picking your favorite, or choosing only the Realm you think you need to work on, misses the point. The apprenticeship is in learning to live through the whole ecology of the Realms.

A year gives you the time and sequence to encounter all six, notice how they relate to one another, and discover what becomes possible when you stop treating any one Realm as the answer.

You don't have to love every season. You get to know how to live through all of them.

If you did absolutely everything offered in the Mythosomatic Sanctuary, you’d dedicate approximately 30 minutes a day, plus 9–10 hours of live calls across each 12-week season. Calls are typically 60–90 minutes long.

But you don't have to do everything. Everything in the Sanctuary is invitational. And you don't have to attend live.

Some people get more from being in the room together and participating in real time. Others prefer to watch the recordings when they have the space to create a ritual around the work, accommodate their work schedule, or simply find a quiet moment after the kids are in bed.

The calls are recorded, so the apprenticeship can move with your actual life.

The regular Sanctuary calls will be held Wednesdays at 4pm Eastern.*

*Call times for the first season may vary because of the expanded nature of the DNA Realm.

You won't, and that's part of the point.

The Sanctuary isn't designed to produce a particular experience, sensation, emotional release, vision, or realization. There is no correct way to experience a Realm, and no experience you need to have in order to belong here.

You might feel something immediately. You might feel nothing at all. You might have a vivid experience during a call and understand it differently six weeks later. You might encounter a Realm through sensation, emotion, thought, imagery, movement, memory, curiosity, resistance, or something you don't have words for yet.

Everything is invitational. Your experience is your own.

The apprenticeship isn't about learning how to have the experiences other people are having. It's about developing your relationship with how your own body experiences the world, and how it’s inviting you to.

You're in good company. Many people who enter the Sanctuary are practitioners in their own right. The community includes people with deep experience in healing, spirituality, therapy, medicine, academia, the arts, business, education, and other fields.

You don't have to leave any of that experience at the door, you just don't have to be it here. In fact, many of us don't even know what each person “does” outside of this space.
The Sanctuary is a place where you can bring the totality of who you are—your knowledge, questions, expertise, skepticism, curiosity, and lived experience—without needing to step into your professional role.

You don't have to be the healer, or the expert, or hold the space.

You get to be someone experiencing the world and your body in a different way. And that makes the community richer. We each bring the wisdom we've gathered through our lives, while practicing the freedom to meet one another, and ourselves, without needing to be the person who knows.

The body's stories don't stay in the body.
They change the way you live.

Thank you for doing this, and opening this container and energy work. I'm moving through things in ways I could not have imagined myself moving through and past. I felt like I was spinning wheels for a long time. Looped in. The growth in just these 7 months has been huge. So thank you!

— megan

I finally stopped pushing myself past my limits, and decided to pursue accommodations. That was huge as a recovering perfectionist hyperindependent people pleaser.
I’m also just way more CHILL but also take way less shit and literally walk away when I want to. I stopped justifying my existence.

— caph

The Sanctuary, along with other practices in my life, have really made me realize that my season of constant, active "healing" is coming to a close. Not that there will never be things to heal, but that I need to move into a season of nurturing, supporting, and growth instead of constantly looking for "problems" to fix.

— cameron

Things shifted as I began working with the Embodied Realms. I remember being left with this “EUREKA!” moment in my body. Like a light-bulb illumination happening within.

The Bone Realm and Organ Realm in particular helped me create a connection between my body’s messages, how I might be feeling, and how my brain was receiving that information. With the Bone Realm, thinking about foundation, posture, and structure felt especially helpful for someone who was rebuilding trust within their body.

— sam

practical considerations

Life is allowed to happen.

There is no culture of keeping up or falling behind in the Sanctuary; an apprenticeship leaves room for life when it happens.

All live calls are recorded, and there’s plenty of space within the seasonal rhythm to return to anything you miss. If you need to step away for an extended period or withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances, you can work with Ash directly to find a solution.

The community is completely invitational.

You can use the Mythosomatic Circle to share, reflect, ask questions, find support, or simply observe, as much or as little as you like. If you choose to participate, you’ll be asked to agree to the community guidelines that help us care for the space together.

The Sanctuary is not therapy, spiritual practice, or a substitute for therapy.

Healing may happen here, and your spiritual practice may change as you learn to listen through your body, but neither is the primary purpose of the Sanctuary. Additionally, the work can be a meaningful complement to therapy, but Ash is not a licensed mental health professional and the Sanctuary is not a substitute for working with one.

The year doesn't end when you graduate.

In the Sanctuary, we mark the end of your year with a graduation gift to help you integrate the framework into your practice of living. You’ll have continued access to an alumni space in the community. When your apprenticeship is over, you may choose to continue into one-on-one work with Ash, or simply carry what you’ve discovered into your life and work.

YOUR BODY IS THE THRESHOLD THROUGH WHICH YOU ENTER EVERYTHING ELSE.

In the beginning of this page, I told you the body isn’t a destination, it’s a doorway. This is a crucial distinction for those who will enter this space. Because you’ve ached to know how to listen to your body. You’ve studied. You’ve practiced presence. You’ve built enough trust to know you can leave and return.

But what happens when you arrive?

Now, you live.

You stop looking for the one right way to be inside your body and begin discovering how many ways there are to inhabit your life.

I've been listening to and living through these Realms for years, and I continue to find more space inside my body and life. I continue to explore what is strange and delightful. I braid myth and soma, wing and tooth, and watch what it sets free in all of us.
