Your nervous system has an energetic ecosystem. There’s direct support from the Organ and Fluid Realms to ensure the nervous system can move, respond, and feel safe within the body. But just like the outside world shapes how the nervous system transmits energy, it also shapes the environment surrounding it.
In this session, you work with cerebrospinal fluid, the myelin sheath, and other protective tissues surrounding the nerves, and explore the relationship between inner safety and the environment that holds you.
Description
What if the nervous system’s ability to feel safe isn’t only about the signals moving through it, but also about the environment those signals move through? This energy healing session in the cerebrospinal fluid and myelin explores these often-overlooked aspects of the nervous system.
The nervous system has layers of protection and support.
Myelin and other fatty tissues insulate the nerves, helping them conduct their signals. Cerebrospinal fluid surrounds the brain and central nervous system, creating an environment in which the communication and conductivity of the nerves takes place. These layers of insulation are a critical component of the Nervous System Realm, but usually go unacknowledged.
This session explores how these environments carry their own patterns of tension, memory, and protection. What happens when the fluid is too hot, too cold, too still, or too agitated? Or when protection is so heavy that it constrains the very thing it was meant to protect?
This energy work moves through the cerebrospinal fluid first, then into the membranes, the adipose tissue of the brain, and finally the myelin sheath and other protective coverings around the nerves.
Energy healing in the Cerebrospinal Fluid and Myelin environments of the nervous system
This session explores the relationship between the nervous system and the environment that holds it.
- Cerebrospinal fluid: Work with the different states the fluid holds, from icy or crystallized to overheated, turbulent, or still. Through imagery that arises, we explore how the fluid can return to a neutral, adaptable state without losing its capacity for movement.
- The relationship between Fluid and Bone: As the fluid seeks structure, it can appear to draw stability from the Bone Realm. Return what belongs to each Realm, and restore a sense of trust and communication between them.
- The membranes: Explore the structures that contain the fluid and the spectrum between tension and looseness. Find a balance between containment and permeability: a structure that can hold what it needs to hold while still allowing movement.
- Adipose tissue and myelin: Invite the release of protective adaptations that have become heavy or restrictive in the nervous system.
- Safety in stillness and activation: Explore the difference between a nervous system that is genuinely at rest and one that is being held still by layers of protection. Make room for activation to be expressed without being dampened or redirected.
Throughout the session, the work proceeds through invitation rather than force. You can move, pause, open your eyes, or take whatever time you need to return to your surroundings.
The intelligence of cerebrospinal fluid and myelin
Think of a nerve as a wire carrying an electrical current. The myelin sheath is part of the insulation around that wire. It helps to protect it and support the movement of its signal.
Now imagine that wire needs to transmit a signal through a room, or an entire building. The protective sheath may become worn, frayed, or brittle if the surrounding environment in that building isn’t stable.
The insulation (the myelin sheath and other fatty cells) is a layer of immediate protection. The surrounding environment (cerebrospinal and interstitial fluids) creates a broader atmosphere in which the system operates.
In this session, we explore both.
The fatty tissues surrounding the nerves are approached as a kind of memory-bearing protection. They may have adapted to keep the nervous system safe, developing layers of armor that limit how freely the system can respond. Meanwhile, the cerebrospinal fluid is explored as an environment that can hold the energetic imprint of different sympathetic or parasympathetic states. If the energetic structure of this fluid remains organized around heat, cold, or agitation, it can be harder for the system to find its way back to neutral.
The session invites these layers to become more responsive, and to return to a supportive environment for the nervous system to exist within.
About Your Session
This is a pre-recorded energy healing session for the Nervous System Realm.
- One pre-recorded energy healing session (62 minutes)
- Guided energetic integration and contemplation through written prompts or practices
- Self-paced exploration with space between sessions to integrate the work
- Unlimited replay access for returning to the sessions whenever you feel called
This session guides you through a sequence of energetic exploration and integration, beginning with settling into the support beneath you and moving inward toward the fluid, membranes, and protective tissues surrounding the nervous system.
You may experience imagery, sensations of warmth or coolness, memories, emotions, movement, or very little that you can consciously identify. You’re invited to allow what’s ready to move while respecting your own pace and capacity.
At the end, you will have time to return gradually to your surroundings, following your body’s cues for movement, stretching, grounding, and rest.
